09/24/07 Update -- Weekly Saturday Meeting

Hi, a small group of us met this past Saturday at Starbucks at Hampden and Happy Canyon. We have added several new members. Mark brought some Fred goodies (e.g., bumper stickers and poster board). Thanks, Mark. We have added a strategy member to the team, Jim. He is going to help us with our short- and long-term milestones.

We have decided to meet every Saturday at 9:00 a.m., but decided to change venues. The Starbucks was just to loud. We will be meeting at 4-Points Sheraton coffee house/restaurant at I-25 and Hampden.

Alice gave us an updated on the Internet site underdevelopment and anticipates its launch in two weeks.

I anticipate to receive from Tom this week the script for You Tube.

It seems as though the presentation that I sent out to you for review was pretty good. I plan to edit one more time and then post it to this blog.

Also, I have just created a Meetup Group and will be sending individuals on the email distribution list an invite to join. Yes, I covered the 6 month cost.

Got to go. Chat soon.

Hi Christel and everyone else -

I apologize that I was unable to attend your meeting on Saturday - some family things came up. I will definitely try to make to some of the Saturday meetings. In the meantime if anyone needs help with anything, please let me know. I have a background in marketing and public relations and can help out in most areas. Just let me know!

Couldn't make it down, but I did make a donation for the end of the 3rd quarter.

Also been playing around with this at work (to the song Please Come To Boston by Dave Loggins, recently released by Kenny Chesney)

-----------------------------------
Please come to Denver when the snow falls
We'll gather up supporters for Colorado Friends of Fred
And rally new recruits to your campaign.
Then we’ll celebrate all night and paint the town bright red.

Please come to Denver.

Hey Fred, know that you will be
Welcome here. Hey Ramblin' Man, why don’t you come on down
Denver is your kind of town.
We're good as gold and this ain’t Washington DC.
We're the number one fans of the man from Tennessee.
-----------------------------------

Keep up the good work Christel!
